I learnt to be a stylist by jumping in the deep end, early in my magazine career ( starting out at Inside Out Magazine) I learnt a lot from amazing photographers not from other stylists about how to edit. arrange and frame a shot, often working g with what we had (before they days of propping peoples houses with borrowed items) and now when styling and shooting I think more about the composition and the arrangement, a less is more approach, never over thinking but always thinking intuitively, making sure things feel relaxed, laid back and causal and never over style or tortured.
