I whole heartedly love sharing and supporting small businesses and independent creatives – for many years I worked as a stylist in magazines – the best part of this job was the new and exciting discoveries and new friends I made – I love a creative crush!
Visiting studios, stores and other creative spaces excites me.
Its a thrill to discover these artists, makers, magicians and their creative spaces that they inhabit and express themselves in and share these to my audience.
Sharing and supporting other authentic creatives has always been at the core of what I do – with no agenda other than sharing the love and lifting each other up.
Recently I discovered the magical Donna Stain and her incredible space, really one of my all time favourite spaces and both of us think that the world or at least as many people possible should know about her business and talent.
Times are tough in retail and gatekeeping and keeping these as “secret” businesses does not help them gain the success they deserve.
